Pete Davidson to Star in ‘Wizards!’

Pete Davidson has signed on to star in Wizards!, per Deadline. The film will be written and directed by David Michôd, while also starring Naomi Scott, Franz Rogowski, and Sean Harris.

The story was developed by Michôd and Joel Edgerton and will be produced by Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Liz Watts.

According to Deadline, the story is about “two hapless pothead beach-bar operators who run into trouble when they stumble across stolen loot that they really should have just left alone.”

Davidson has been busy with multiple projects in the works. Aside from Saturday Night Live, he was seen in the recent season finale of ABC’s The Rookie, the film Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, as well as the upcoming projects Meet Cute, Good Mourning, and The Home. His series, Bupkis, was also recently ordered to series at Peacock.
