Outfest Announces 2022 Outfronts Lineup Including ‘Love, Victor’, ‘Queer as Folk’, and More

The lineup for the second annual Outfest TV festival, The Outfronts, has been revealed! Run by film festival and non-profit organization Outfest, The Outfronts is a multi-day event that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in television. The event takes place on June 3-6, with a mix of in-person and virtual panels. It will feature Q&As with cast and crew from LGBTQ+ shows, advance screenings, and will be the world premiere of Peacock’s Queer as Folk reboot.

In-person screenings and conversations will feature Peacock’s Queer as Folk (world premiere) and Love, Victor, which will preview a sneak peek at the season 3 premiere episode. Other in-person events include: Queer Firefighters On-Screen & IRL, with 9-1-1: Lone Star‘s Brian Michael Smith and Ronen Rubinstein; and HBO Max’s Legendary, with speakers to be announced.

If you’re unable to attend, Outfest is offering several virtual panels, including: Chucky, Gentleman Jack, Harlem, Tom Swift, Motherland: Fort Salem, The Sex Lives of College Girls, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, The 4400, Yellowjackets, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Sort Of, and The Wilds.

Along with show-specific panels, Outfest will feature panels from LGBTQ+ actors and influencers to discuss the changing landscape of LGBTQ+ representation in television and more. Guests include Javicia Leslie (Batwoman), Vico Ortiz (Our Flag Means Death), Wilson Cruz, Paula Pell, and many more.
