It was only just a matter of time before FOX renewed its #1 scripted series, 9-1-1, and now that time has come. The first responder drama is coming back for season 6! Spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star was renewed for a fourth season earlier in the day.

The news comes not long after FOX’s 2022 Upfronts presentation, as well as ahead of tonight’s season 5 finale. 9-1-1 has once again been dominating Monday nights, as fans are captivated by the crazy rescues and emotional personal lives of the 118 and co.

There is no word on when season 6 will premiere, but it’s likely to be later this year. As for now, all five seasons of 9-1-1 are streaming on Hulu. Check out our other 9-1-1 coverage here.

Don’t miss the 9-1-1 season 5 finale tonight at 8 p.m. EST on FOX!
