ABC’s Rosanne spinoff The Conners will see a familiar face next month as Christopher Lloyd reprises his role of Lou.

According to Deadline, Lloyd will appear in the May 4 episode titled “The Best Laid Plans, A Contrabassoon and A Sinking Feeling.” This episode is set to see Darlene (Sara Gilbert) struggling to cope with the stress of construction. Still, after a serious accident, she re-evaluates everything to make a life-changing decision. Meanwhile, Lou returns as Mark’s (Ames McNamara) combative contrabassoon teacher in a blast from the past. Unfortunately, the duo butt heads, and it takes Dan (John Goodman) stepping in for them to realize that their similarities outweigh their differences.

Best known for playing Doc Brown in Back to the Future, the Emmy-winning actor has made multiple television guest appearances in recent years, including NCIS and The Big Bang Theory. He has also recently joined the Star Wars franchise with a mystery role in The Mandalorian.
