Netflix has renewed the Vikings spin-off series Vikings: Valhalla for two more seasons!

Originally ordered for 24 total episodes, the second chapter of the series recently wrapped production in Ireland and will air in 2023. The third season is expected to begin filming in the spring.

Beginning in the 11th century, Vikings: Valhalla chronicles the adventures of some of the most prolific Vikings that ever lived. Sam Corlett leads as Leif Eriksson, as well as Frida Gustavsson as Freydis Eriksdotter and Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson. As tensions rise between the Vikings and the English, the English vacate their agreement to peace and bloodshed ensues. The Vikings won’t agree to follow the new Christian belief system, causing discourse among their own groups as well.

The first eight episodes of Vikings: Valhalla are available to stream on Netflix.
