Big Finish Celebrates International Women’s Day With Three New Stories
To celebrate International Women’s Day, Big Finish released the second volume of The Eighth of March called Protectors of Time.
This range is dedicated to strong female characters from the show. The first story, Stolen Futures, is centered around Romana (Lalla Ward) and K-9 in E-Space after the Doctor Who episode Warrior’s Gate.
The second story, The Prism brings Lady Christina de Souza (Michelle Ryan) and Jenny (Georgia Tennant) together for the first time.
The last story, Turn of The Tides, features the first appearance of The Sarah Jane Adventures character Rani Chandra (Anjli Mohindra) where she teams up with Jo Jones (Katy Manning) and Jac (Jaye Griffiths) to investigate the strange weather.
The boxset is directed by Helen Goldwyn and Louise Jameson and is produced by Emma Haigh. The synopsis of the stories are as follows:
