‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Nominated For Five Critics Choice Super Awards

Nominations were revealed earlier today for the second annual Critics Choice Super Awards, which recognize films and television across the superhero, science fiction, fantasy, horror, and action genres.

Box office success and instant fan-favorite Spider-Man: No Way Home received five nominations across the various categories for the Super Awards, tying with fellow Marvel entry Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The nominations primarily come from the compelling performances of the film’s cast, which featured three generations of Spider-Men heroes and villains.

The blockbuster which stars all three actors who have played Spider-Man in recent years – Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire – has earned more than $1.7 billion at the global box office to become the sixth highest-grossing film of all time since releasing December 17, 2021.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is still showing exclusively in theaters, and is expected to release on digital soon. The winners of the Super Awards are to be announced March 17.
