The second annual Critics Choice Super Awards nominations were announced today. Multiple DC television shows and films racked up nominations.
Film nominations:
- Zack Snyder’s Justice League – Best Superhero Movie
- The Suicide Squad – Best Superhero Movie
- John Cena – Best Actor In A Superhero Movie
- Idris Elba – Best Actor In A Superhero Movie
- Gal Gadot – Best Actress In A Superhero Movie
- Margot Robbie – Best Actress In A Superhero Movie
Television nominations:
- Superman & Lois – Best Superhero Series
- Doom Patrol – Best Superhero Series
- Tyler Hoechlin – Best Actor In a Superhero Series
- Brendan Fraser – Best Actor In A Superhero Series
- Javicia Leslie – Best Actress In A Superhero Series
With 11 nominations total, DC should be proud of the amazing films and television shows that have gained the critics’ attention. There are currently rumors of Doom Patrol season 4 being released to HBO Max sometime this fall, but nothing is officially set.
