Nominations were revealed today for the second annual Critics Choice Super Awards, which recognize films and television across the superhero, science fiction, fantasy, horror, and action genres.

Netflix’s chilling limited series Midnight Mass — which comes from the brilliant mind of horror aficionado Mike Flanagan, creator of The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor — dominated the television category with six nominations, tying with the series Evil.

Best Horror Series
Best Actor in a Horror Series – Zach Gilford
Best Actor in a Horror Series – Hamish Linklater
Best Actress in a Horror Series – Kate Siegel
Best Actress in a Horror Series – Samantha Sloyan
Best Villain in a Series – Samantha Sloyan

Midnight Mass tells the tale of a small, isolated island community whose existing divisions are amplified by the return of a disgraced young man (Gilford) and the arrival of a charismatic priest (Linklater). When Father Paul’s appearance on Crockett Island coincides with unexplained and seemingly miraculous events, a renewed religious fervor takes hold of the community — but do these miracles come at a price?

The series also stars Kate Siegel, Rahul Abburi, Crystal Balint, Matt Biedel, Alex Essoe, Annarah Cymone, Annabeth Gish, Rahul Kohli, Kristin Lehman, Robert Longstreet, Igby Rigney, Samantha Sloyan, Henry Thomas, and Michael Trucco.

All seven episodes of Midnight Mass are currently streaming on Netflix. For a refresher, get caught up with our episodic recaps.
