Nominations were revealed today for the second annual Critics Choice Super Awards, which recognize films and television across the superhero, science fiction, fantasy, horror, and action genres.

Marvel Studios’ action-packed series Hawkeye landed a total of three nominations.

Best Superhero Series
Best Actress in a Superhero Series – Hailee Steinfeld

2021 was jam-packed with new releases from Marvel Studios, putting Hawkeye up against fellow MCU contenders Loki and WandaVision in the above categories.

Hawkeye is set in post-Blip New York City where former Avenger Clint Barton aka Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with Kate Bishop (Steinfeld), a 22-year-old skilled archer and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy.

All six episodes of Hawkeye are available to stream exclusively on Disney+. Catch up on all of our series coverage, including episodic recaps and more.
