Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka is trading spells for obsession. The actress’ newest series, Swimming with Sharks, finally has an April release date!

The six-episode series follows Shipka’s Lou Simms, an intern at Fountain Pictures who develops an obsession with her boss, studio head Joyce Holt (Diane Kruger). While Shipka and Kruger were announced as the leads back in 2020, the series was originally in development for the now-terminated Quibi platform, via Variety.

Donald Sutherland, Ross Butler, Thomas Dekker, Finn Jones, Erica Alexander and Gerardo Celasco star alongside Shipka and Kruger. Swimming with Sharks comes from Lionsgate Television, with Kathleen Robertson serving as creator, showrunner and writer while Tucker Gates is the director. Chris Cowles, Liz Destro, Stephen Israel, Jay Cohen and Dana Brunetti are executive producers.

There is no hard premiere date for Swimming with Sharks, but it will be available exclusively for free on The Roku Channel some time in April. Stay tuned to Nerds and Beyond for more news!
