Paramount+ has announced that military drama SEAL Team is officially coming back for a season 6! The series, which follows an elite unit of Navy SEALs, had its season 5 finale just over a week ago where it left the Bravo Team under heavy fire and trapped while on a mission.

SEAL Team, which was previously on CBS, moved to Paramount+ after a four-episode event on the network. And it proved to be a good thing. Nicole Clemens, President of Paramount+ Original Scripted Series said in a statement:

“We are very excited to welcome SEAL TEAM back for another season on Paramount+. The show’s loyal fanbase followed the series to its new exclusive home, and it has proven to be a high-performing title for the service, consistently in the top 10 most-watched original series. We can’t wait for the fans to see what our brilliant creative team has in store for Team Bravo next season!”

Produced by CBS Studios and executive produced by Spencer Hudnut, Christopher Chulack, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, Mark Owen and David Boreanaz, SEAL Team stars Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley and Toni Trucks.

All five seasons are streaming on Paramount+. There is no word yet on when season 6 of SEAL Team will premiere. Stay tuned to Nerd and Beyond for more news!
