A Look at Dylan O’Brien’s Upcoming Film Roles

Share:

Dylan O’Brien has carved a name for himself since the conclusion of MTV’s Teen Wolf, starring in notable franchises and films with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. That doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon, either. This year alone, O’Brien has appeared in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Infinite opposite Mark Wahlberg and Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Flashback.

What’s next for the actor? We’ve compiled all the information on O’Brien’s upcoming projects below.

Not Okay

In August, O’Brien boarded Not Okay opposite Zoey Deutch. Not Okay follows a misguided young woman desperate for friends and fame. She fakes a trip to Paris to gain a following, but the trip doesn’t go as she hoped. Outside of her warped reality, something happens that gives her the attention she is searching for. O’Brien is playing Colin, a stark contrast to the characters he’s played thus far. This time, covered in tattoos, with a blonde buzz cut.

Deutch and O’Brien’s costars include Embeth Davidtz, Nadia Alexander, Tia Dionne Hodge, Karan Soni Mia Isaac, and Negin Farsad. The satirical Hulu comedy is written and directed by Quinn Shephard (Midnight Sun). Filming wrapped in September.

The short film is written and directed by the singer/songwriter. “All Too Well” first appeared on Swift’s Red album and will also be part of Red (Taylor’s Version), releasing the same day as the video.

The Outfit

The plot for The Outfit sees an English tailor Leonard (Mark Rylance), who once crafted suits on Savile Row. Now in Chicago, he makes a living running a small tailor shop. He creates clothes for a family of gangsters as they are the only ones that can afford them. Alongside O’Brien and Rylance stars Zoey Deutch, Simon Russell Beale, and Nikki Amuka-Bird.
