‘Tis The Fandom Gift Guide Season: ‘The Boys’ Edition
Supe up this Christmas season with a little V from Vought International. As fans await the third season The Boys to drop on Amazon Prime, we can prep for binging The Boys by buying holiday items.
Vought International has its own store on Amazon Prime where you can get your licensed t-shirts and sweatshirts! (It’s almost too convenient that you can watch season 1 and season 2 on Prime and then go on Amazon to shop for your favorite merchandise.) There are official t-shirts with your favorite superheroes, such as the “Out Of Sight” one below, that will keep you decked out on Christmas morning.
If Supes are not your thing, you can also get character t-shirts, sweatshirts, baseball long sleeve shirts, and tank tops of Billy Butcher, Hughie Campbell, Mother’s Milk, Frenchie, and Kimiko. You can also get tote bags for when you go to the grocery store.
If merchandise is not enough and you need a full costume, you can still buy a full costume from Spirit Halloween at the Vought International store on Amazon. You have a choice between Homelander, The Deep, and Starlight. Hopefully, there will be more choices by next season.
For stocking stuffers, Amazon does not disappoint. For your cellphone, there are a variety of popsockets and cellphone covers for both Apple and Samsung phones.
Of course, being a superhero fan wouldn’t be complete without collectible figures. You have a choice of every Funko Pop! imaginable. Collect them all and then collect the different poses of Starlight, Homelander, Butcher, and Hughie. They have all Seven Supes — even our dearly departed Supes such as Translucent.
If you have collected all the Funko Pop!s, be sure to collect the Neca Action Figures of Homelander and Starlight where you can interchange heads and hands and even lasers.
Lastly, you should never forget a plush stuffed Homelander for the baby. However, if you have a dog similar to Terror, you can also buy the plushie for Fido and put Homelander in his place.
For the true fan, it’s crucial to read the comics to prepare for the next season. They are slightly more expensive than before, but just imagine what the collection of comics will be worth in the future. You can leave them to your kids, and they might have enough money to start their own company like Vought International.
Holiday time is a time to remember your heroes and the season of giving. But let’s be honest. Follow Homelander’s example and “Do what the F*ck you want” this season. Whatever you do, never meet your heroes — just buy them.
