The final season of the riveting fantasy series A Discovery of Witches is coming … and the trailer has just arrived.
A Discovery of Witches follows the story of a reluctant witch named Diana Bishop (Teresa Palmer), who falls in love with a vampire named Matthew Clairmont (Matthew Goode), despite the archaic legalities of their ancient world that prevent them from doing so. Caught up in the mystery of a bewitched manuscript, Diana and Matthew embark on a journey across the world and through time in order to discover its secrets, all while dodging endless threats from the creature world, too.

The trailer opens up with a reminder for audiences of season 2’s shocking ending — the death of Emily Mather at the cruel hands of Peter Knox. However, Diana and Matthew won’t have much time to grieve in peace, because they have two children on the way now …
A Discovery of Witches is based on the All Souls trilogy by author Deborah Harkness. While season 2 took audiences through the story of the second novel, Shadow of Night, the third and final season will likely adapt the events of The Book of Life.
Season 3 of A Discovery of Witches will premiere in January 2022.
