Emmy-nominated actor Paul Bettany is set to star in a new dramedy, Harvest Moon, a film co-written by Bettany with Dana Brown. Deadline was the first to report.
Mark Waters is set to direct, and Carmen Ejogo, Candice Bergen, Cary Elwes, Riley Looc, Malia Baker, Staz Nair, Rodney Richardson, and Connor Falk will also star.
The script was born in lockdown, as a way to keep sane Bettany said of the script’s origin. The film is set during the pandemic and will see a young boy try and reunite his separated parents while the world is shut down.
Bettany, Brown, and Waters will also produce alongside Bill Block and Jessica Tuchinsky.
Last seen in Marvel’s Emmy-winning series WandaVision, Bettany also has one other project on the books. He will star alongside Claire Foy in A Very British Scandal for Amazon/BBC.
