Jensen Ackles Joins Western Film ‘Rust’

Jensen Ackles has joined the cast of the western film Rust, first reported by Deadline. The film stars Alec Baldwin, Travis Fimmel, Brady Noon and Frances Fisher. Rust is written and directed by Joel Souza.

Here’s more about the film:

A 13 year-old boy, left to fend for himself and his younger brother following the death of their parents in 1880’s Kansas, goes on the run with his long estranged grandfather after he’s sentenced to hang for the accidental killing of a local rancher.

According to Deadline, Ackles will play U.S. Marshal Wood Helm, who is after Harland Rust (Baldwin) and his estranged grandson (Noon).
