‘Riverdale’: Kiernan Shipka to Reprise Role as Sabrina Spellman for Season 6

It’s finally happening! Sabrina Spellman is coming to Riverdale in the upcoming sixth season. Not much has been revealed about the appearance, but it’s been confirmed by Sabrina herself, Kiernan Shipka, that she is indeed going from Greendale to Riverdale.

Shipka portrayed the young witch on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina for four seasons on Netflix before the streamer decided to cancel the series. While there have been a few Easter eggs between the two shows, there wasn’t much of a confirmation that the two, based on the Archie Comics, actually take place in the same universe, until now.

Season 6 of Riverdale is set to premiere on Tuesday, November 16 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on The CW.

Kiernan also has an exciting new project coming out soon, Treat, which is a Halloween podcast movie debuting globally on October 25 on all podcast platforms. In Treat, Shipka stars as Allie West, a high school student in a seemingly perfect American town that makes a deal with a mysterious outsider possessing supernatural powers to help it recover from social turmoil. When the town falls behind on its payments, a trio of teenagers must unlock the secret of his powers. Treat is from C13Features, the new scripted audio movie division of Cadence13.
