‘Halloween Kills’: New Featurette Gives a Closer Look at the Strode Women

In 2018, David Gordon Green released Halloween starring Jamie Lee Curtis as she reprised her iconic role of Laurie Strode. The film earned more than $250 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film in the Halloween franchise.

Fans of the franchise have waited three long years for a sequel. Now, after multiple delays, Halloween Kills is less than two weeks from premiering in theaters.

In anticipation of the film, Universal Pictures has released a new featurette titled “Warriors.” The clip features the film’s stars Jamie Lee Curtis (Laurie Strode) and Andi Matichak (Allyson) as they give a closer look at what makes these woman warriors.

Halloween Kills is the next chapter in the franchise and is a continuation of the events that happened during Halloween (2018). After discovering that Michael had escaped the trap Laurie had set for him, the Strode women join a group of survivors from Michael’s first attack to form a mob to hunt down Michael Myers and finish what he started.

Halloween Kills stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Thomas Mann, and Anthony Michael Hall. It is directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green, Scott Teems, and Danny McBride. The film will be available in theaters and for streaming on Peacock on October 15, just in time for Halloween.
