Daniel Sherman Releases “The Floral Mask I Wear” From Upcoming Album ‘UNCAGED’
With less than a month until the release of his solo debut album, UNCAGED, Daniel Sherman has released another single from the record, titled “The Floral Mask I Wear.” At around nine minutes in length, the song is the second single from UNCAGED itself, the first being “Inside.”
“The Floral Mask I Wear” is just the latest in a wave of new content from Sherman over the past six weeks, building to the release of UNCAGED on October 1. He has also dropped new music videos for his songs “Chapters,” and “Better/Halfway/You’re Gone,” along with a short documentary titled “The Show: Exalted 2021.” Like these, the accompanying music video for “The Floral Mask I Wear” was also filmed by Christian Carranza. It previously premiered live on Sherman’s YouTube channel on Friday, September 10.
Daniel Sherman is singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Livermore, CA. He started as a drummer/co-vocalist in a band named Crowned In Chains. He has released multiple solo EPs and singles since 2019, as well as four albums, such as It’s Us and Evolving, since 2020. More recently, Sherman was selected to have his song “What You Want” produced by Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda live on Twitch (more information here).
