Eddie Vedder Releases New Single “Long Way” off Upcoming Album ‘Earthling’

“Long Way,” a single off of Eddie Vedder’s upcoming solo album Earthling, has been released. The tune is slightly different than anything else he’s released up until this point, with shades of Tom Petty interwoven throughout.
Vedder has been releasing solo music for over a decade. His last solo album, “Ukulele Songs,” was released in 2011. Recently, Vedder collaborated with his daughter Olivia for a track on the Flag Day film soundtrack. Last year, the Pearl Jam frontman shared two solo songs as part of a fundraiser for the rare disease Epidermolysis Bullosa.
A special 7-inch limited edition vinyl of “Long Way” is available on the Pearl Jam store.
