James Bay is staying booked and busy. Right on the tail of “Chasing Stars,” James Bay is featured on Calum Scott’s new single, titled “Biblical,” which Bay co-wrote. The two collaborated on the acoustic version. Check it out below!
“Biblical” is a goosebump-inducing love song. Scott and Bay’s voices blend perfectly, and the harmonies slide over your senses like melted butter as Bay’s guitar rings out, strumming in the background. Bay, well-known for his higher singing range, takes the less common role for himself by providing the lower set of vocals in this song, but it only serves to showcase his range alongside Scott’s crystal-clear melodies.
Bay seems to be entering a new period of activity as COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease up, performing concerts at small venues as well as releasing new collaborations such as “Funeral” and “Chasing Stars.” Does this new period of activity signal that a new album might be coming soon? Only time will tell.
