Get ready to scream as Universal Studios Hollywood reveals the rest of its Halloween Horror Nights lineup! With some of the most highly anticipated mazes, scare zones, and even the return of the popular Terror Tram, this October is shaping up to be one of the most bone-chilling ones yet. Brand new ticket options are available this year with a R.I.P Tour and the Ultimate Fear and Frequent Fear Passes, these tickets will fully immerse fans in the year’s most extreme and some could even say terrorizing Halloween event.

Guests will be transported to the world of The Purge with the Terror Tram: The Ultimate Purge. This event is based on the popular franchise brought to life by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions. Guests will have to try to survive their journey through the terrifying annual tradition that is the Purge, when for one night every crime is legal and no one is coming to help you. However, in the latest film in the franchise, The Forever Purge, members of an underground group have the beliefs that the Purge should be an everyday occurrence and attempt to overthrow America through ruthless plans of chaos and bloodshed.

Be prepared to look over your shoulder as you enter the Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers maze. Stalked around every turn this maze based on the classic slasher film from Trancas International Films will haunt your dreams. Myers is back again and looking for vengeance as he terrorizes the community of Haddonfield with his haunting white mask and steel knife.

This year’s Halloween Horror Nights boasts some of the genre’s most twisted minds brought together to create breathing, living, and three-dimensional worlds of fright inspired by classic television and movies of horror that fans know and love.

  • Texas Chainsaw Massacre

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be terrorized by the demented Leatherface and his chainsaw then this is the maze for you.

  • The Haunting of Hill House

This maze is based on the critically acclaimed Supernatural thriller of the same name from Netflix.

  • Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives

The classic monster is back but this time with a new original story and brand new music, created by the Grammy-winning musician SLASH. Universal Studios Hollywood has collaborated with the musician to bring a new life to this maze and scare zone.

  • The Exorcist

Guests should be prepared to be possessed by this nightmare-inducing maze. As they enter guests will live the tormented aberrations that were experienced by Regan and her determined mother.

  • The Walking Dead

This maze is a fully immersive adventure into the world of AMC’s popular television series. Get ready to encounter walkers around every turn.

  • The Curse of Pandora’s Box

Inspired by one of the most sinister creatures of Greek mythology this maze is an original concept, so enter if you dare.

  • Joining in on the terrifying fun will be the award winning hip hop dance crew, Jabbawockeez. They will perform nightly with their signature gravity defying and high energy dance moves.

This year brings some brand new scare zones that are designed to torment and terrify guests as they attempt to navigate through the darkness from one daunting maze to another. Careful, because you will never know what has come to life throughout the theme park with these spine-chilling experiences.

  • Universal Monsters: Silver Scream Queenz

Right next to the Bride of Frankenstein Lives maze will be the first scare zone of its kind! This all-female scare zone will feature some of the silver screen’s most terrifying women with the bride of Frankenstein, Anck-Su-Namun, the Mummy, Dracula’s daughter, and the she-wolf of London inspiring the screams.

  • Chainsaw Rangers

When guests first enter the park for the event they will be face to face with this diabolical gang of chainsaw-wielding maniacs.

  • Demon City

New York Street has been transformed by a bloodthirsty hoard of demonic-looking clubbers who are prowling the night looking for their next targets.

Also in addition to all the horror nights fun guests will be able to enjoy some select regular theme park attractions. Jurassic World-The Ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, Revenge of the Mummy-The Ride, Transformers The Ride-3D, and The Simpsons Ride will all be open and available to ride during the extent of the event.

This event tends to sell out very quickly so advanced purchase is highly recommended. Guests who purchase tickets online will be provided with early admission to the park with entry starting at 6:00pm each night. The event dates are as follows: September 9-12, 16-19, 23-26, 30 and October 1-3, 7-10, 14-17, 21-24, 28-31.
