The long-time CW drama has added a new face to the ongoing series. Eliza Bennett (Sweet/Vicious) will play Amanda Carrington in seasons 4 and 5 of Dynasty. Amanda is Alexis’ long lost daughter.
In a previous episode, Alexis and Dominique found themselves inside the Carrington mine-shaft. Assuming death was imminent, confessions came, including a major secret Alexis was holding onto; she has a secret daughter with her yoga instructor.
According to the official character description, Amanda is “smart, confident, and can hold her own against any Carrington who comes at her. By day she’s a savvy lawyer, but by night she’s a bit of a party girl. And she has no problem stirring up trouble in a family full of troublemakers.”
Amanda was a recurring character in the original 1980s Dynasty played by Catherine Oxenberg and Karen Cellini. She first appeared in season 5’s “Amanda.”
