It seems that we will be getting a new track featuring James Bay soon.
Bay recently took to Instagram to tease new music with a video featuring a beautiful (but short) piano sequence. Artists Marshmello and Alesso posted the same video that Bay uploaded to his page, suggesting a collaboration on the project. Check out the teaser below.
Additionally, according to a Reddit post, fans of Marshello allegedly received an email with the same cryptic message teased in the video, with a constellation image of three artists that resemble Alesso and Bay (see it here).
Bay most recently released the song “Funeral” with Maisie Peters as a part of a soundtrack for an Apple TV+ production. Read more about it here. Bay’s performances have been limited since the beginning of the pandemic. However, it seems that his schedule is starting to pick back up again between his position on I’m With the Band, collaborating on new singles, and beginning to perform at small venues once again.
James Bay’s newest project is set to arrive August 20. As always, stay tuned for more updates.
