‘The Harder They Fall’ Set to Premiere at BFI London Film Festival

The 65th BFI London Film Festival is swiftly approaching, and they set the opening film! BFI announced that The Harder They Fall will open the festival on October 6. This will be the film’s world premiere. It will show at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. Director Jeymes Samuel and cast Jonathan Majors, Regina King, Idris Elba, and Zazie Beetz are scheduled to attend.

The Harder They Fall follows Nat Love, an outlaw whose enemy Rufus Buck is released from prison. When he finds out, Nat rounds up his crew to get his revenge on Rufus. Meanwhile, Rufus has his own formidable crew, and they don’t lose.

Along with the aforementioned cast, LaKeith Stanfield, Delroy Lindo, Edi Gathegi, Danielle Deadwyler, R.J. Cyler, Deon Cole, and Damon Wayans Jr. star in the film. Samuel and Boaz Yakin co-write. Samuel also directs, composes, and produces. Jay-Z, James Lassiter, and Lawrence Bender also serve as producers.
