Thanks to an exclusive reveal from Entertainment Weekly, we now have our first look at Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Hawkeye and confirmation of a premiere date!
As the title suggests, the series follows the continued exploits of Avengers archer Clint Barton. We’ll also see the introduction of Kate Bishop, Clint’s 22-year-old protégée, as portrayed by Hailee Steinfeld. Kate first appeared on the pages of Marvel Comics in the 2005 Young Avengers run, taking on the mantle of Hawkeye in Clint’s absence. The two would later go on to star in Matt Fraction and David Aja’s critically acclaimed 2012 Hawkeye series.
Check out the first look photo below, which features Renner and Steinfeld.

The cast also includes Vera Farmiga as Kate’s mother Eleanor, Fra Fee as Kazi, Tony Dalton as Jack Duquesne, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, and Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Florence Pugh will reprise has role as Yelena Belova.
Helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie, Hawkeye was originally announced at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019.
Hawkeye will land exclusively on Disney+ on November 24, with new episodes premiering on Wednesdays. Stay tuned for our coverage, including episodic recaps, reviews, theories, and more!
