Regé-Jean Page (Bridgerton) will star in and executive produce The Saint Reboot for Paramount. This is his second project with Paramount, as he stars and produces Dungeons and Dragons coming out later this year.

The new iteration of The Saint has been long in the making, attached with another cast, and then shelved. The Saint is a story long told by Hollywood. It is based on the novels by Leslie Charteris and first appeared as a radio show, in comics, then as a TV show in the 60s with Roger Moore. The last version was a 1997 remake with Val Kilmer for Paramount.

The story is about Simon Templar, a master of disguise who fights bad guys and acts like a Robin Hood figure fighting the evil-doers of the day. The storyline and other actors have not been publicly disclosed yet.

Producing The Saint will be Lorenzo Di Bonventura, Brad Kevoy, and the late Tobert Evans. Kwame Kwei-Armah will write the draft.

Fans who were originally upset when it was discovered that Page would not return to Bridgerton because of storyline purposes will be happy to see him take on not only The Saint and Dungeons and Dragons, but also a role in the Russo Brothers’ upcoming movie The Gray Man. He will have plenty of screen time to keep us happy!
