Dark Star Pictures has announced the release dates for Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman and Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman. Both movies will include a one-night cinema release across the USA in over 750 cinemas. This will then be followed by VOD and DVD release.
Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman follows the serial killer that has fascinated the nation, Ted Bundy. It will follow both his story and the manhunt that finally captured this elusive criminal. It will star Chad Michael Murray (Riverdale, One Tree Hill) as Bundy. The movie will also feature Lin Shaye (Insidious) and Holland Roden (Teen Wolf).
Ted Bundy: American Bogeyman will be released in cinemas August 16 and then on VOD and DVD on September 3. Make sure to check out trailer below!
Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman follows the story of serial killer Wuornos. This prequel and companion piece to Monster stars Peyton List (Cobra Kai) as Wuornos. It also features Tobin Bell (Saw), Lydia Hearst (Z Nation), Nick Vallelonga (Green Book), Swen Temmel (In Time), Meadow Williams (Boss Level) and Andrew Biernat (Shadow’s Edge). Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman will be released in cinemas September 20 and then on VOD and DVD on October 8.
