‘Black Widow’ Digital, Blu-ray, and DVD Release Dates Announced

After a record-breaking pandemic premiere in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access, Marvel has announced the dates for Black Widow‘s wide home release.

On Tuesday, August 10, the film will be available on all Digital HD platforms. Then, on Tuesday, September 14, you can grab it anywhere DVDs are sold when it releases on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Finally, if you’re holding out until it streams at no cost on Disney+, Wednesday, October 6 is the date you’re after.

Black Widow closed out Natasha Romanoff’s story after her death in Avengers: Endgame. It took place in the time between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, letting Natasha finally clear up some of that red in her ledger.

Not only did Black Widow close out Natasha’s story, but it also opened a few new ones. We already know that Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova has a bright future ahead in the MCU thanks to that post-credits scene, but there have been some whispers that Alexei and Melina’s stories may not have ended yet.

The film starred Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as The Red Guardian/Alexei, Rachel Weisz as Melina, and O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason.

Black Widow is still playing in theaters and available on Disney+ with Premier Access. Be sure to check out our review of the film!
