The Mandalorian follows the adventures of a mysterious bounty hunter named Din Djarin, who’s portrayed by Pedro Pascal, as he traverses the outer reaches of the galaxy in the wake of the Empire’s rule. After its first season, the show was a critically acclaimed hit amongst diehard Star Wars enthusiasts and casual fans alike, having successfully brought a live-action television series from a galaxy far, far away to the small screen for the very first time.

The show has undoubtedly also become synonymous with its tiny green mascot, casually known as Baby Yoda but formally named Grogu. Though he was initially just another one of Din’s bounties, the two soon formed a bond akin to a sassy space dad and his adorable, bratty adopted son.

Seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian are now streaming exclusively on Disney+. Catch up on our episodic recapsreviews, and more!

Tune in to watch the Emmy Awards, which will be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, live on CBS and Paramount+ on Sunday, September 19 at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. EST.
