Bo Burnham’s latest Netflix special Bo Burnham: Inside swept the nation with its poignant portrayal of social issues, life during the pandemic, and mental health struggles — all presented in a dazzling yet comedic package. Burnham’s work writing and directing the special, filmed all in one location, was appreciated greatly by audiences, and it seems like critics have also recognized the value of the special, as it has earned 6 nominations for this year’s Emmys.
