Another cast member has been announced for HBO’s The Last of Us. Dumbo‘s Nico Parker will portray Sarah, Joel’s daughter.

Parker joins the previously announced Pedro Pascal, who will take on the leading role of Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, and Gabriel Luna as Joel’s brother Tommy.

The Last of Us takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.

The series is an adaptation of Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed action-adventure survival video game, which originally launched on the PlayStation console in 2013.

The Last of Us is written by Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckmann, director of the video game and co-president of Naughty Dog, and is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television. Jasmila Žbanić and Ali Abbasi will serve as directors, and Kantemir Balagov is set to direct the pilot episode.

Stay tuned for more updates on The Last of Us.
