Ready for a new, yet familiar take on everyone’s favorite underdog, Cinderella? Dropping on September 3 on Amazon Prime, Cinderella tells the tale of a young seamstress Ella, played by Camila Cabello, who dreams of opening her own dress shop. Helping her to reach this goal is her Fab G, played by Billy Porter. The movie also stars Idina Menzel, Minnie Driver, Nicholas Galitzine, and Pierce Brosnan in unknown roles.
Kay Cannon wrote and directs this musical extravaganza that includes covers of songs written by some of the greatest musical artists of all time. Cinderella‘s producers include James Corden, Leo Pearlman, Jonathan Kadin, and Shannon McIntosh, with executive producers Louise Rosner and Josephine Rose rounding out the creative team.
