Disney’s Jungle Cruise is set to release in U.S. theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on July 30, 2021. While there’s still a month to go before its release, there are new character posters and two new trailers to check out!
Jungle Cruise, the new film based on Disneyland’s theme park ride, follows Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) as she travels from England to the Amazon jungle and enlists the services of the riverboat captain, Frank Wolff (Dwayne Johnson), to guide her downriver. Lily is attempting to uncover the Tree of Life, which is thought to possess healing powers and could change the future of medicine. On their journey, the duo will encounter dangerous animals and supernatural forces. As the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes get higher for Lily and Frank, and the fate of mankind hangs in the balance.
