Get ready to sing! Sing 2, the sequel to the hit Sing, has released a new trailer.
This holiday season, the new chapter in Illumination’s smash animated franchise arrives with big dreams and spectacular hit songs as the ever-optimistic koala, Buster Moon, and his all-star cast of performers prepare to launch their most dazzling stage extravaganza yet … all in the glittering entertainment capital of the world. There’s just one hitch: They first have to persuade the world’s most reclusive rock star — played by global music icon Bono, in his animated film debut — to join them.
Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) and his team of stars have a new mission … find the reclusive rockstar Clay Calloway (Bono). But there are quite a few bumps along the way.
Many voices are returning to the sequel including Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, and Nick Kroll. Additionally, a few new voices are joining the team including music superstar Pharrell Williams, Black Panther’s Letitia Wright, comedians Eric Andre and Chelsea Peretti, and Bono himself.
Sing 2 releases in theaters just in time for the holidays on December 22, 2021.
