The upcoming Disney+ series Monsters at Work dropped its first trailer, and it is good to see Monsters, Inc. again.

Pixar’s favorite monsters are coming back to screens for the first time in almost eight years with this new sequel series. One of the first Disney+ projects announced back in 2019 before the streaming service even launched, it sees the return of core cast members from the original films including John Goodman and Billy Crystal as Sully and Mike. Stars like Ben Feldman, Mindy Kaling, and Henry Winkler are now along for the ride as well.

Set to premiere next month, Monsters at Work picks up after the events of Monsters, Inc. following a new character named Tyler who arrives at Monsters, Inc. intending to be a scarer, only to find that they’ve switched from scream energy to laughter. He gets shuffled into a new position that isn’t quite what he expected when he applied, but with new friends to be made along the way it is sure to be an exciting new adventure that fans get to accompany him on.

Check out the full trailer below, and get ready to go to work July 2 with Monsters at Work.
