Apple TV+ has revealed the teaser trailer and premiere date for See, led by Jason Momoa. The second season will premiere Friday, August 27 with new episodes premiering every Friday.
See is set in the future where a deadly virus has destroyed humanity. Those who had survived didn’t come out unscathed — they’re now blind. Enter Baba Voss (Momoa) whose twins were born centuries later with the ability to see. Not only must he protect his tribe, but he also has to protect his twins from a queen who wants them destroyed.
Season 2 picks up with Baba Voss fighting to reunite his family and get away from the war and politics. However, the more distant he becomes, the deeper he gets sucked right back in. It will also introduce his nemesis brother, Edo Voss (Dave Bautista) that threatens the family even more.
Season 2 introduces a number of new characters to the show alongside Bautista, including Eden Epstein (Sweetbitter), Tom Mison (Watchmen), Hoon Lee (Warrior), Olivia Cheng (Warrior), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water), and Tamara Tunie (Flight).
See is executive produced by Steven Knight, Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Jim Rowe, and Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as showrunner.
Apple TV+ has also renewed the series for a third season ahead of the season 2 premiere! Filming for the third season is currently underway in Canada.
