Netflix Sets Season 2 Release Date for ‘Never Have I Ever’
The highly anticipated second season of Never Have I Ever is on its way, and Netflix has finally shared the release date! Season 2 of the streamer’s original series will premiere on July 15, 2021. They also shared a few new images, which you can find below.
Season 2 will continue to follow Devi as she navigates her more complicated love life, trying to decide between Ben or Paxton (#TeamBen). Nalini will also dip her toes into the dating pool, and it’s likely the season will revisit the major news Nalini dropped about moving to India.
The trailer is scheduled to release next week on June 17, in a “fan-focused trailer event” that involves Q&As, games, and teaser clips with the cast and creators, leading up to the trailer’s release at 8 p.m. PT.
Never Have I Ever focuses on Devi Vishwakumar, a first-generation Indian-American high schooler reeling from the sudden and unexpected death of her father. Season 1 follows her as she reacclimates to school with her best friends Fabiola and Eleanor.
The show stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Ramona Young, Lee Rodriguez, Jaren Lewison, and Darren Barnet. Season 2 will also welcome Megan Suri, Common, and Tyler Alvarez in recurring roles.
