It’s time to get out the tissues once again, Normal People fans. Paul Mescal, otherwise known as Connell Waldron, has won the BAFTA for Leading Actor! His emotional and gut-wrenching performance as Connell has earned Mescal many accolades in the year since the miniseries’ release, with nominations at the Emmys, Critics’ Choice Awards, and more. Normal People was nominated in seven categories at this year’s BAFTA ceremony, with Mescal’s win marking the only trophy for the series.

Normal People is available now on Hulu. Mescal will next be seen in The Lost Daughter and Carmen.
