‘Normal People’ Scores 7 BAFTA Nominations

The acclaimed series Normal People has received seven BAFTA Television nominations! The highest honor in British televsion and film, the film BAFTA winners have already been announced in a separate ceremony. Normal People was nominated in the following categories:

Mini-Series

Leading Actress – Daisy Edgar-Jones

Leading Actor – Paul Mescal

Director: Fiction – Lenny Abrahamson

Editing: Fiction – Nathan Nugent

Photography and Lighting – Susie Lavelle

Sound: Fiction – Niall O’Sullivan, Steve Fanagan, and Niall Brady

The BAFTAs are split into Craft and Television ceremonies, with the Craft awards presented on May 24 and the main ceremony taking place on June 6. The main ceremony will be televised on BBC One.
