Third Installment of ‘A Quiet Place’ Franchise Coming in 2023
The exciting A Quiet Place horror franchise is getting a third entry.
Paramount has dated a third, currently untitled, A Quiet Place installment for March 31, 2023. More of a spinoff rather than a threequel, Jeff Nichols (Mud) will direct the movie, taking the place of John Krasinski at the helm. Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller and Krasinski are producing, with Allyson Seeger executive producing.
A Quiet Place became a sensation when it opened to the highest weekend gross ever for a horror movie and went on to make $340 million worldwide. A Quiet Place Part II, with returning stars Emily Blunt and Millicent Simmonds, is in theaters now and has already grossed $58 million since its opening Memorial Day weekend.
