This August, the 25th annual Fantasia International Film Festival is set to take place, and the first wave of films has been announced. Included in the lineup is Richard Bates Jr.’s comedy King Knight, starring Matthew Gray Gubler and Angela Sarafyan.
This year’s edition of the festival will once again be virtual, taking place August 5-25 and accessible across Canada. Along with world premieres and screenings, the festival will also have workshops and panels made available.
Gubler and Sarafyan play Thorn and Willow, a “husband and wife high priest and priestess of a coven of witches in a small California community. When Willow unearths a secret from Thorn’s past, their lives are thrown into turmoil.”
King Knight also stars Nelson Franklin, Johnny Pemberton, Barbara Crampton, Ray Wise, Andy Milonakis, as well as the voices of AnnaLynne McCord and Aubrey Plaza.
