An update on the Hocus Pocus sequel has finally arrived. Disney has announced that not only will the film come in 2022, but the original Sanderson sisters, portrayed by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, are returning!
The famed 1993 classic film followed siblings Dennison and Dani as well as their friend Allison who accidentally freed a coven of evil witches (the Sanderson sisters) that used to live in the abandoned house they were exploring. It’s a race against the clock as they must find a way to get rid of them. With the help of Binx and Billy the zombie, they are able to save themselves and the town.
The film has also found a new director, Anne Fletcher (27 Dresses) will be taking over from Adam Shankman who will now act as an executive producer.
