Paramount+ Teases the Return of an Old Enemy in New ‘Star Trek: Picard’ Teaser Trailer

On April 5, during the First Contact Day virtual global panels, Paramount+ released a new teaser trailer for season two of Star Trek: Picard. The teaser revealed that the show will be back in 2022 and the return of an old enemy of Captain Picard, Q, played by John de Lancie. The actor made a surprise appearance during the panel and confirmed his return.
Q was first introduced in the first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation and came back several times during the seven seasons of the show including in the finale “All Good Things…”. He also appeared in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Lower Decks.

Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Isa Briones, Evan Evagora, Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, Jeri Ryan, Orla Brady and Brent Spiner will return for the second season of the series.
The free First Contact Day virtual are now available to view on-demand on Paramount+’s YouTube Channel and on Paramount+ in the U.S.
Season two of Star Trek: Picard will be comprised of 10 episodes and will stream in 2022 exclusively on Paramount+.
