Forest Whitaker has been added to the cast of the upcoming crime drama Havoc. He joins the previously announced Tom Hardy.

After a drug deal goes south, a detective must battle his way through the criminal world to rescue a politician’s son. He finds himself untangling a web of deep corruption and conspiracy that has a strong grip on the entire city while he does.

Havoc will be written, produced, and directed by Gareth Evans. Ed Talfan and Aram Tertzakian will also produce, along with Hardy.

The film will debut on Netflix, but there is currently no projected release date.
