Katie Findlay Joins ‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’ Cast

It looks like there will be a new love in Max’s life when the second half of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist returns to NBC! Revealed exclusively by Entertainment Weekly, Katie Findlay (How to Get Away With Murder, Nancy Drew) will be joining the cast as Rose who will make her debut on the midseason premiere episode airing March 28.

According to the interview with show creator Austin Winsberg, Rose is an old crush of Max’s whom he met while the two were camping as youngsters. Max never acted on the crush during their time together, but with Rose visiting San Francisco for a few months it seems he’ll finally have the chance to tell her. Will this new love interest force Zoey to reconsider how she feels toward Max or perhaps be a chance for both character to move on? We’ll have to wait and see!

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist returns Sunday, March 28 on NBC.
