WATCH: Sam Heughan and Hannah John-Kamen Stage a Narrow Escape in New Clip From ‘SAS: Red Notice’
The action-packed film SAS: Red Notice is due to premiere shortly, a thriller which is based on the novel by former SAS operator Andy McNab.
The film follows the story of a special forces operator named Tom Buckingham (Sam Heughan), who’s taking his girlfriend Dr. Sophie Hart (Hannah John-Kamen) from London to Paris in order to propose to her. Their plans are unfortunately derailed when the train that they’re on is seized by Grace Lewis (Ruby Rose) and her team of heavily-armed war criminals. Hundreds of passengers are held hostage as the train is stopped deep within the Channel Tunnel, and Grace threatens to expose the British government’s darkest secrets and blow up the tunnel if her ransom demands aren’t met. Tom, who’s unarmed and cut off from his counter terror team, is the only hope that the passengers have to make it out alive. SAS: Red Notice also stars Andy Serkis, Tom Hopper, and Tom Wilkinson.
A new clip from the film has just been released, which features John-Kamen’s Sophie and Heughan’s Tom staging a narrow escape for a young passenger on the train. Meanwhile, Hopper’s Declan and the rest of his team begin to move in on the hostage situation.
SAS: Red Notice will be available in the UK via Sky Cinema on March 12, and it will launch On Demand in North America on March 16. Make sure to check out our interviews with stars Ruby Rose and Tom Hopper in the meantime!
