New Images and Character Posters Released for Netflix’s ‘Shadow and Bone’
Coming to Netflix this April is the fantasy series Shadow and Bone, which is based on the best-selling YA fantasy book series from Leigh Bardugo, adapting the Grisha Trilogy — Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, Ruin and Rising, and the Six of Crows duology: Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. The official series synopsis from Netflix is: “Sinister forces plot against a young soldier named Alina Starkov when she reveals a magical power that might unite her world.”
In anticipation of the release, producers have released seven new photos exclusively through Entertainment Weekly!

The series is developed by Eric Heisserer (Bird Box) and stars Freddy Carter (Pennyworth), Jessie Mei Li (All About Eve), Archie Renaux (Gold Digger), Amita Suman (The Outpost), Kit Young (Endeavour), Ben Barnes (The Punisher), Simon Sears (Ride Upon the Storm), Julian Kostov (Berlin Station), and more.
Shadow and Bone premiers on Netflix on April 23.
