With just one month to go until the season two premiere of Prodigal Son, FOX has released a new promo for their Tuesday night lineup! Juxtaposing the life and death aspects of The Resident and Prodigal Son, which will air back to back, the trailer gives us a few new clips of the much anticipated second season!

Martin and Malcolm have a conversation in which Martin tells him, “You’re the hero. Don’t torture yourself for that.” It’s anyone’s guess as to what he might be referring to, as Malcolm is regularly a hero as he works with the NYPD to save lives every day. However, I’m just a little suspicious this is hinting at something else.
“I stop killers, I don’t help them,” Malcolm tells Martin, who appears to be back in his old room at Claremont Psychiatric! We also get a quick glimpse of some of our favorite crime-solving team members including Edrisa and Dani, though Dani seems to be cautiously backing away from something potentially threatening. Thankfully she’s a skilled officer surrounded by many other officers.
We can’t wait to find out what season two has in store! Prodigal Son returns January 12 at 9/8 C on FOX.
